The MAC OS VS. Windows

Since nothing fascinating happened today... And also because i'm bored... I decided to make post something i'm interested about... I get this question alot from people.. What is MAC OS and Windows.. what are the differences and also the difference between a normal notebook and a MACbook

This is what we call a Macbook... it is actually a normal notebook. It is called a MAC-book because it runs on an operating system called MAC OSX. MAC OSX is an operating system specially designed for Apple computers.. Apple is the name of the company inventing these brilliant notebooks for us to use.. Unlike the PCs or normal notebooks. The Mac operating system can only operate in Apple PCs & Notebooks (iMac, Macbook Pro, Macbook) Not only that, from what I've heard, the Mac OSX contains no virus at all unlike Windows. So far so good.. moving on, unlike the Windows, once you purchased a Macbook or any Apple products, you can easily start using it unlike the Windows where you have to buy extra software applications to fully use the PC. Obviously, a MAC is more expensive than Windows.. why you may ask? The materials used and the technical specifications are accuatly better than normal PCs/notebooks.

A MAC Operating System can only be used in apple products, unlike Windows, you can anyhow install it in any PCs that have the requirements needed.. For the Mac OSX operating system, you cannot install it in any PC.. unless you have the hacks or emulators.. Now, let's do some comparing between a normal notebook and a MACbook shall we?

-a very nice design

-uses Intel Centrino processors (lousier than Intel Pentium), and perhaps AMD processors.

Conclusion: A MAC has everything a computer lover wants or maybe too much of what a computer lover needs while as Normal Notebooks have just what students are looking for..
But beware, usually notebooks that are worth around RM2k+ either:
1)Lousy Processors
2)Lousy battery life ( I bought a BenQ laptop last year. A 14" inch kind, tested the battery and it only lasts 2 hours.. Wth?. We buy a notebook strictly because of its battery life XD)
3)Outdated motherboard
4)Lousy coating materials
5)Spoils easily XD

-A MAC is how to say.. PERFECT. It is very compact, huge battery life, Slim, Light, Good materials. That is why Apple produces very little notebooks, because their aim is a perfect Notebook.. and they've succeeded. The Macbook I'm using now is 13" inch. Aluminium coated, 5 hrs battery life, powerful Intel processors, 2 GB ram, 160GB, a very nice iSight web cam. I simply love the design! And also, they used environmental-friendly materials to assembly the Macbook.. The LCD is made from recycled glass, The coating is made from recycled aluminium. Oh yes, the new Macbook's touch pad has been designed superbly.. Large area touch pad unlike other notebooks and multi touch technology too.. The multi touch function is really cool.. where you use 1,2,3,4 fingers to minimize, sort,right click,swap pictures.. Too much to say... it's just really cool..! so my advise, if you have about RM4k+, GET A MAC, I promise you will not, I repeat, will NOT regret.. like me :D

This is me.. I took this picture recently... because I was testing out the iSight camera.. And also, if you are wondering why my head is bengkok.., I myself also can't explain... it could be a habit.. but it's not a sickness or whatever..

Today... During ICT lesson... My so called "friend" had been punished by the ICT Teacher because he did not finish up his assignments.. since last year.. (neither have I.. but mine ain't that serious =P). So my so called "friend" was scolded like mad by the ICT teacher.. (deserved it) and I understand how he felt.. buay song lar.. >_>" But still.., he was the wrong one in this case.. Who asked him not to finish up his assignments..? Now.. straight to the point.., He did not notice how kind I was to lend him my Project.. for him to photostat.. just to photostat.. I lent to him since last year... about 3 months ago.. and yet everytime I asked him, "where's my project?" he was like.. have not photostat.. =.= You know ar... If I was in a bad mood.. early early liao.. I'll jeopardise his life.. but i'm not that evil.. =P When the bell rang today, he came to me and started swearing about the ICT teacher.. I had to compromise with him and say words like.. ya, I know, haha.. (seriously I don't mean it).. I wanted to tell him that you are wrong, but somehow my inner consciousness didn't let me.. so I just keep quiet and kept agreeing xD (see I'm so nice..) He was quite angry at that time.. so I didn't add any words.. XD, but to tell you the truth.. He was totally 100% WRONG! So a few seconds before he left .. He told me that he wanted to quit ICT.. (hais... so easy right? I QUIT) but he never thought about me.. he quits and what about my Project? I sacrificed my 5% marks for him as a friend to help him out.. and yet.. he doesn't even appreciate... I could have easily scored 89% in my EXAM (Semester 2) but I pitied him.. I was wrong... I don't really know what he is thinking... Not everyone has the heart to help a person who is not close with you... But.. oh well...
